Hernando County Hurricane & Safety Expo
May 30th, 2009 was the date for the Hernando County Hurricane and Safety Expo. Experts from every field you could think of were there helping inform and prepare the residents of Hernando County for the upcoming 2009 Hurricane Season. The Hernando County Sheriff's office along with Hernando County Emergency Management held their annual expo at the world famous Weeki Wachee State Park. It was a great success, and the information flowed freely in an effort to help the citizens of our county prepare for the big one, if and when it comes. Those in attendance learned about everything from "High voltage wires and what not to do with them" to "how much water a person needs per day to survive". It was as enjoyable as it was sobering. The hotdogs were delicious, the weather was great but the theme of the event reminded all of us that there is a price for living in paradise. We at TLC Public Adjusters, Inc. enjoyed participating in the event for the first time this year. We would like to thank all of those who stopped by our booth and took the time to hear about our services and how we fit into the theme. We wish all of you a safe hurricane season.
