"Your Right to Recover. Your Resource to Resolve."
Why do I need a Public Adjuster?
A Public Adjuster is the first avenue advocate for the Policy Holder. A Public Adjuster represents the Policy Holder to assist in their financial recovery and to insure proper indimnification by the Insurance Company. The experience and resources provided by the assistance of a Public Adjuster are key to developing the best possible strategy for presenting your claim to your insurance company. Shortly after notifying your insurance company of your claim, an adjuster representing the insurance company will visit you to ask questions and gather facts about how your loss occurred, the magnitude of your loss, and the possibility of subrogation. You as the policyholder should take care in answering these questions, especially if your knowledge of property insurance is general and the specific nature of your coverage is limited. Incorrect, incomplete or inadequately expressed answers may reduce the amount that you may be paid. In the absence of a Public Adjuster, a Policyholder, unfamiliar with the basis for exclusions, or denials by the Insurance Company, may accept the insurance company adjustor's position as non-negotiable. This could result in the Policy Holder not being compensated for a loss that is legitimately covered under the insurance policy. TLC Public Adjusters, Inc. will work for you so that your position is equally represented and you have someone looking out for your best interests.
