Sinkhole
Sin Hole House
A sinkhole is a natural depression or hole in the surface topography caused by the removal of soil or bedrock, by water. Sinkholes may vary in size from less than a meter to several hundred meters both in diameter and depth, and vary in form from gently sloped bowls to bedrock-edged chasms. They may be formed gradually or suddenly, and are found worldwide.  The State of Florida is known for having frequent sinkholes, especially in the central part of the state. A sinkhole can form anywhere and many times they are right under our homes.  If this happens to you, there may be catastophic damage, or it may just be some cracks in your walls.  In either case, the sinkhole must be stabilized and your home repaired.  We can help you get the money you need to make those repairs which will put your home back on solid ground.

If you would like to know more about sinkholes and their causes please visit "The Florida Sinkhole Guide" a web page sponsered by the University of Florida.
