Windstorm

Damage from the severe winds during a thunder storm account for half of all severe weather damage reports in the lower 48 states and is more common than damage from tornadoes. Wind speeds can reach 100mph and can produce a damage path extending for hundreds of miles. These winds are often called “straight-line” or “wind-shear” winds and are differentiated from those “cyclonic” winds caused by tornadoes. Strong thunderstorm winds can come from a number of different processes. Damaging winds are classified as those exceeding 50-60mph according to the NOAA.  Since most thunderstorms produce some straight-line winds, anyone living in thunderstorm-prone areas of the world is at risk for experiencing this phenomenon.  Florida is no stranger to thunder storms.  If you have experienced high wind damage from a storm, we can help you get the monies you need to make those repairs.
